A couple of years ago, I became interested in natural alternatives to artificial / chemical laden products. I have a fixation with beeswax, and with learning to make my own products. I started with beeswax lip balm, and branched off from there. I source my beeswax from a local beekeeper here in Norfolk county and render (clean) it myself (more about that in another post).
It is difficult to make very small batches of things just for yourself, so I started giving things as Christmas presents, but even still, had a lot left over. At the not-so-subtle suggestion from my daughter, I decided to share my knowledge and my passion for making yummy natural stuff. On November 23, 2016, Everything But Soap was launched. The response in just a few short weeks has been inspiring and I am happy to have been able to introduce some exciting new items just in time for the holiday rush.
The standard items will always available (balms, salves, Aroma-Dough, etc), and there will be seasonal items, flavours, scents and gifts sets that come and go. I like to offer small size containers because: a) it keeps costs down, b) it allows you to try our products without investing a lot, and c) they are made with all natural ingredients and have a shorter shelf life than artificial products.
I use essential oils and all natural scents / flavours, depending on the product being created and a full ingredients list will be available on the website for each product.
